Apart from holding a Bachelor Degree in Communications Management, i also have a Diploma in Marketing, Advanced Diploma in Business Management, and Advanced Diploma in Mass Communications. I was also a candidate for NUID Master of Science (Management) degree, till i withdrew, to after being offered a place at NIE/NTU. I am also able to understand the theory of Andragogy and Pedagogy, formative and summative assessments. To develop WSQ curriculums, i am also on the verge of completing my Advanced Training and Assessment (ACTA) course, after clearing the CIDTT course. I did well in my MSAT and got into the Mensa Society Singapore since 2009. With my passion to teach/coach/train/instruct/tutor, i should be able to guide and even inspire the tutees to achieve their academic goals. Available Tuition Schedule: From February 2012 onwards. The basic wealth of values.
The basic wealth of values comes from within oneself usually. I find many people around me doesn't have the real kind of basic wealth of values. For example:
Seeing new people in a corporate settings should give a handshake(a hard/or moderately firm grip) to signify friendly and warm-heartedness. I am perturbed to see many did not have that kind of value. Please learn. Thank you.
During a batam trip, a table setting was in rectangle. Naturally, the 2 people who sat at the long end of both side can't reach their food at each other's side. Please, stand up to exchange plates for one another. What infuriated me in my heart was a man of my neighbouring country keep on eating dishes as close as his rice there. He was oblivious that some people(like myself), was hoping to have a taste of the dish near him, as the table was supposed to be a shared tourist lunch table. Effing no value.
I am delighted to see us Singaporean as naturally culture. People do dare to render help to the needy or anyone seriously in their crisis situation. And people does stood up to render seats to the needy. That's the value of what we needed.
When you are an overseas university graduate, do not take photos at locations in Singapore. Because Singapore justify the significance for the local university. Therefore for private overseas university graduates in Singapore, please take photos at studios, or take it at the locations of the country they would have originally graduated from.

Academia talk.
Many months ago, I applied for NTU school of Rajaratnam's Master of Science (Strategy Studies). It was my great hope for it, as i will have a chance to learn modules like 'Special forces', 'Terrorism' and 'Radical muslim motivations for war' etc. Eventually after getting for of my previous lecturers to write in for me, i did not get the place. I was quite pissed during then, emailed the relevent personnel(not to be too obvious) and told him off. There was no reply. I did not know if he had got that email.
A couple of months ago by chance, I applied for Master of Science Communications from NUS in collaboration with ANU(Australia National University). My bet that this is not a course for me, and chances are not high. However applied for fun anyway. There was a correspondent who keep following up with me on the fee of $20 to process the application. After i finally complete the process by mailing the documents and cheque of $20, I got a letter very soon, for being unsuccessful. They tried to eat my money, I feel. Earning this application fee is enough for them.
I applied and Kaplan's National University of Ireland(University College Dublin) Master of Science (Management) a couple of months ago, and a couple of weeks later, I was accepted. Will go for the orientation, collect materials, and attend lessons first.
I took the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT) was initally wanted to clear the pre-requisite for Murdoch's Master of Education by Kaplan, but feel that unless one is a subject matter expect at their specialised degree level, and able to teach, then an MEd will be good for them to further themselves. No point for me to take this now. It will be better, if i have extra money for a Master Degree.
I applied for NIE's Master of Arts (Instructional Design and Technology) many months ago, and recently, I was elated to be offered the course. To affirmed my decision, I emailed to the unit coordinator to check if the cert to be conferred will be under NIE itself, or NTU. The good news was, it will be conferred solely by NTU. It will worth my 2 years of study. However, the trade off will be, i will have to leave my current job soon.
With the 2 years, my focus will be on training for IPPT, reservist, lose up to 5 kg, take more short courses, like photography, creative writing, phonetics, concurrently, if there are enough opportunities during my free time, i will conduct to teach short courses or workshops to kids or teach creative writing, phonetics etc.
I will also go back to my old martial arts Karate, and also if can afford time, money and commitment to, take up Krav Maga.
I will also volunteer for the Assistant Testing Director of my Mensa Society Singapore etc. At times, i will go to the gym, meet my girlfriend, and chat up any old friends, if there are opportunities.
Going to NTU will also be far, so it would takes me around 2 hours on my own travel, or if i drive, will need ard 1.5 hours or lesser to go for my studies from 6pm to 9pm. Let's hope the plan is in mind.
My aim is also to travel to Israel for the Advance Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security course, for own interest. Also to vist some other middle east country for travel, like Dubai, Abu Dhabu. Other countries will be Japan, Turkey, Italy etc.
My current colleague wanted to go to south Korea for some trekking tour. If i have enough finance, i will join him.
If i could lower down myself a little, may visit my old security friends by working some security assignments, and go for some carefes job with Mediacorp, like I did.
My Intercept Academy organisation I hope, will re-open again one day.
I would say that i am 文武双拳双. Haha, to have attained up to a high qualification, and had a black belt in karate previously is the best of both world. :)

Back from China from 22 Oct to 30 Oct 2011. Was great to re-vist there once again. The first objective is to follow my mother and grandmother for relatives' visits, then rest and relax will come in play.
Went to Xiamen, then Raoping line at Teo Chew city for a night, before visitng the village ( there. Most of them are down there (Fuo Shan Zhen, Jun Pu Chun). Not much changes. Many kids had grown up, while most of the thing there are still the same. We went back Raoping for dinner. Alot of stalls offer dog meat and lamb. Then we headed to Swatou, and stayed the other night. Safety not that good, that was what we heard. However, roads and shops are bound to have. We then headed to Quanzhou, a city cheap in goods and services, good for business opportunities there to embark with. Then you can spent the money at Xiamen, a bustling city as nice as Singapore, but with expensive things and properties. From there we stayed 3 nights at Fujian Province, Anxi, where my grand father's side lives. Our granduncle and his wife passed away, so now left an empty rock house at the mountain top. Visiting there now and 14 years ago was so different. Was so lively with teens 14 years ago, now most of them grown up and started their family, work or got married to other cities. Very soon, the mountain (Peng Lai Zhen, Peng Ge Chun) will diminish to the extent that the old house will be preserved by their younger generations, and back on only special occassion. Who knows, it may become a heritate area in a couple of centuries time? There are still 3 houses when my china uncles and their family lives in the mountain top. One of them has been operating his show and keys making business at Xiamen for years. Eventually we went back to Xiamen for the last night, and i had initiated to visit the 2nd uncle who is doing his key making business.
It is also an open secret to be working in the government side that corruptions is inevitable. Therefore priviledges and high earning is no suprise to anyone who got into jobs related to the government sector there.
As for food, my comment is that most of the food are oily, with the element of Lards are being use. However, with china's natural food resources, their food are no doubt much fresher than ours in Singapore. And fish and seafood are vast, while pork and duck are their popular food. As for chicken, I hardly has a chance to see. What curbs the fats, oil, and cholestrols? Their habitual way of drinking teas in china. Almost practically, all household has a tea set with big trays for water to be poured onto the wide tray. As for our Anxi, the root of the 'Tie Kuan Yin' tea, they have the best production and grade for the tea.
There were many more dramas and happenings during the 8 nights, 9 days trip. But to summarize overall, it is a fruitful and wonder trip. Cheers.

Kenray

Effective Fengshui for all.
Fengshui is good for all, i would believe. It may help to improve one's life, if things has been calculated correctly. Many times, general fengshui can be applied to anyone, at anytime.
Everyone born in a certain year can also predict their lucky directions to help attract the quality of energy that can be nourishing or work for us. Once we know our lucky fengshui directions, we will try to face them at work, home or even at bed( the direction the hair of our head should be facing when we are in bed)
How do your find your lucky feng shui directions? It is simple. First we will have to know our Kua number, and also to determine our year of birth due to the Chinese New Year Calender.
Then follow the steps below:
Step 1. Add the last two digits of your year of birth (or of the person whose kua number you are calculating.) In the example we have chosen the result will be 7 + 3 = 10. Bring it to a one digit number by adding the two digits 1 + 0 = 1. So, by using our example of the year of birth 1973, the number we calculated in Step 1 is 1.
Step 2. If you are calculating the kua number for a female:
In classical feng shui, you are either a East or a West group person. Once you know your Kua number, you can easily find out your feng shui group, here it is:
EAST Group: Kua Number 1, Kua Number 3, Kua Number 4, Kua Number 9
WEST Group: Kua Number 2, Kua Number 5, Kua Number 6, Kua Number 7, Kua Number 8.
Lastly, look at the chart below and find out the best, or lucky feng shui directions for your Kua number:

Enjoy!

- Deduct the number from Step 1 (10) from number 1. So, in our example we have 10 - 1 = 9. And Voila again, you have just found out the Kua Number for a male!

Presidential Election - My personal take.
In considering this Saturday's President Election and who to vote for, my personal take would be someone who is good in finance, and has a generated a great turn over and growth of company revenues and assets in the financial company. Do i need to spell out who that person is? The only thing is that I think he may need to polish up his pronunciation(or go for a phonetic course), as he will need to represent the state, should he be elected as the glorifying head of state.
4 Mr Tans(not including myself) are respectively trained from first, PHD in Mathematics and Science, 2nd, A Medical Doctor, 3rd, a Financial Chief Executive with Substantial Experience, and 4th one, one who is trained in Economics.
Why would i choose the 3rd one? Well, my take: He wanted to create a President Personal Council(An independent maverick like me would think the same as he is), he can look after the reserve well and believe the sum of money in the reserve can better help the gray areas of the populations. He wanted to propose NS men to have same salary scale with the regulars (though put inside CPF), and he wish to donate half of his high salary to the poor and needy in the community. He stands out during the interview events(He dressed in traditonal attire, while the rest dressed in tie and suit). He dressed without the tie, while the others dressed in standard tie and suit. He also seems like a humble man, one who can blend in with the normal people in the society, than being a pro-partisan or pro-elite person. He is deemed to be independent and neutral, and doesn't sprout tones or elements of pro-partisan(Be it opposition or government).
In considering that, what coincidentally increase my support is that he was being invited by the Mensans for a financial planning talk during the June's Mensa Soapbox (Although i am not involved and not active at that point of time), the coincident has generated my increase for support for him.
For people who have been considering between him and the 4th Mr Tan. I would feel that since this is a P.E, and not a G.E, you could not bring in the tone and elements of opposition too much in the P.E. The elements was strongly and prominently produced by the 4th one when he make his talk in his rally. This is what i felt, a little sort of extremist. Therefore i would not consider the 4th Mr Tan.
In the first 2 others, not base on fact or basis, I got some funny comment that the 2nd Dr Tan superficially looks the most like a President, but however, since both the Dr was a member with the Pro-Govt, I personally will not consider any of the both of them. Otherwise, my 2nd choice(if can have that), would be the 2nd Dr Tan. The first Dr Tan, I know his intellect and experience, as he emphasis through his speech can have strong influence and consideration of the government, but personally, i think he is already rich enough, and was pro-partisan, therefore somehow, he has not got into my mind of electing for him. Many young people may also not vote for him, that is my guess.
So who will you vote for? Consider wisely. If you do somehow agree with my take, then vote the same Mr Tan with me. :)

Inner World.
I couldn't believe my inner thoughts... A love so great within which has succumb my personal self... I am a human now, I cannot show unconditional love.... Or will it be worth....? Could i just remain my normal human self of anger, hurt, and giving up?....I have chosen the love for tolerance, value nurturing, and to never give up on this.... Lord guide me, because you have given me this hope, this love for me to look after and nuture, and i am very thankful for you.
Thank you for guiding my late father who had passed on. I hope he has a better afterlife. I hope he could become a deity or an Angel to guide us all and bless us.
14 years ago, at my bed, i told the lord to let me be back with him. But it is all too foolish and unworthy to even think about that, the lord told me. I finally went through a year of hell at school, believing to be disturbed by the evil thing.
A period of time, the feeling of emptiness has tormented me. The mystery lies beyond the emptiness that i am having. At times, i thought that the reality was a dream, and the dream was the reality... The only person who can advise me, but i did not listen in, is my mother.
Now the complexity of human minds, which translates to human actions and interpret by the individualistic thinking of different views and caused humans to disagree or agree with one another, or have perceptions that differs. The only way is to seek the majority, that will form the correction of the logical senses which one in a few will think otherwise, but have no choice, and to agree with it...
With having said that...everything i felt is the sudden surge moment of sadness, anguish and hurt which at normal situation and superficial basis, will not come into the attentions of anyone... the human world on the surfaces are usually the front to be braved and be happy, positive on, but deep within, there is an underlying sadness and sorry one can unlock, if there is a need to.....

I had a dream.
In my sleep, i usually would not be able to recall much about the dreams. Most of the time, there wasn't any dreams at all. Today i had a dream. I dreamt that i was with a group of people, with all around us, are vertical(but not directly vertical)congregations of different breed of wildlife animals, all seated around. Somehow, the setting was that all of us were calm, lazing and somehow tired. This totally includes the wildlife animals. Beside our congregation were the lions. Up next to the lions were the raccoons, and the furthest were some animals, which they seem like wolfs or dogs to me initially, but instead of them lazing around like us, i could see a couple of their movements.
Being beside the lions, i was a little perturbed at first and whether we would be of any danger. I asked my group of people to shift to the furthest, as it could be safest to be at the furthest point, near to the wolves, and far away from the lions. But one of them(someone whom i am able to recognise) told me that it is better to stay on where we were, and he pointed out to the furthest that those were the wolves. I somehow thought in my heart, "wolfs aren't that dangerous, as compared to the lions beside us?" In the end i just stay put. That was the end of my dream. Indeed, the dreams were really vivid. I could almost recalled this scenario like a small portion of movie.
I woke up in the early morning before work, and checked the Dream Dictionary which i had bought so many years ago. Here are some of my finding:
Animals: To see wild animals in your dream is generally a good omen pertaining to business, but the interpretation depends on their attitude; if they were calm, your affairs will prosper, but if they attacked you(or each other), you can expect some reverses. See also Lion, Dog, Cat, Bull, Cow, Horse, etc.
I checked the Lion: A lion featured in your dream is a symbol of social distinction and/or business leadership. If you heard the lion roar, you are likely to have to cope with jealousy from someone close to you. A friendly lion cub is a forecast of a new and valuable friendship. See also Animals.
Then i checked the Raccoon: Raccoon fur or articles made from it predict that you will find a new talen or hobby which will prove profitable as well as enjoyable. Otherwise, see Animals.
So i checked the last one, which is the Wolf: This animal is, as expected, a symbol of hard times or financial embarrassment, so pull in your belt, unless you managed, in your dream, to kill it or drive it away, in which case it predicts success in spite of all obstacles.
It seems to me that my dream is overall, not a bad one. Lion is a good symbol of social distinction and /or business leadership, and there was no roar from the lion. The raccoon were just next the lions, while the wolves were at a distance away, and furthest. It was a good thing in the dream that the friend has asked us not to go over that side, because he said that side were the congregation of the 'wolves'. So in a way in life, I thought i could have somehow avoided hardships or am far away from financial embarrassment, which in the dream the lions and the raccoons were quite vertically congregated next to us. If the wolves were to be able to reach us(me and my group of people), they would have to go through the area of the Raccoons, and be able to pass through the lions, before reaching us. That was the picture proximity in my dream.
Such an interesting and intriguing dream, i thought. Nevertheless, as we dream, the mystique behind those dreams sometimes does want to tell us something, something that God may one to relate to us, in an unconventional, yet subtle manner.

Building our pipelines.
As one says, we need to build up our pipelines. But usually one needs to be patience, and try his way constantly to move forward, and upward. In a career start, it will could take someone to have 8 to 10 jobs, before stabilising permanently in one job. But no matter what job, I think satisfaction is the most important. Job satisfaction and good collegues and bosses will likely make you stay as long as you can. But ultimately after staying too long, and when one has no lack of savings or spending which could last for some time being, one would eventually resign to seek a more meaningful life. A case where one resigned from his career for 30 over years, and then went to a poorer country to teach english has been heard. I am very sure there were more cases like this. Sometimes heaven has a plan for us, sometimes, heaven may give us the liberty to choose.
I choose to build the pipeline of career following the normal years, and accumulating the exeperience, as this is beyond my control. However, I can accelerate my academic status within the years while i build my career pipeline with accumulating years of work experience. Accelerating academic status is under my control, therefore i choose to hit the 'Accelerate button'. While performing normally or nothing deemed out of the norm from my daily routine career job, i am taking chances of life long learning, continuously taking up courses and workshops etc, despite having completed my degree.
The true fact will be that taking up courses could as well be my hobby. As i am starting my CIDTT course, i am also gradually taking the ACTA(Adv Cert in Training & Assessment) modules. When my CIDTT completes early next year, there will come my MEd. The MEd programme may be my last academic career path to a master degree. If there were to be a DBA or PHD, it will need to take my natural ability to decide at much later part of the years, because achieving all these ultimately needs to serve good purposes.
In my point of taking the CIDTT, it can help enhance me as a private teacher and trainer to conduct any forms of training, beyong academic, beyond skilled. It could also be sports and martial arts. CIDTT can be opposed to a Diploma in Education, or even a Post Graduate Diploma in Education offered by the NIE, MOE. CIDTT = Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers is a strong private qualification offered by the University of Cambridge international examination body, which deals with our O'level/A'level, allows one to get into the Master Degree in Education. However a CIDTT needs to be coupled with a Degree not relevant with Education, to be accepted.
Having an MEd, I would prefer to look into teaching and learning, or development of course syllabus and curriculum, or even lecturing freelance in future. Doing a job that could interact, nuture, and touches the lives of many, brings joy to my natural being. However certain goals needs that pipeline to be built, before the goals are reached. This is call the 'Process', and the objectives to reach the goals.
As I could plan certain thing, i may not foresee other hidden situations. Could i see that within two years of working in the same company, i will be able to rise up to a Senior executive, or even an assistant manager?
After finishing my Master of Education in mid 2013, will my rank not balance with my qualification that need to compel the company to move me up, if it was to be rightfully mine? If it does happened, it will have to. However if i am already a senior executive by then, the chance of an assistant manager at least, should be. Otherwise, i should jolly well accumulate my years and move on to a better position elsewhere, with better pay cheque, of course!
I am also getting married to my beloved girlfriend estimated to be from late 2013 to early 2014, if possible.
Nevertheless, plans could be plans, but the ultimate plans for us lies from the above. One could wish or pray for the above to grant us his blessings, or else he could change our thoughts and offer a different, but better alternatives.

Floods
If you are at Home:
> Stay put, but grab your ready bag and be prepared to evacuate immediately when advised to do so by the authorities.
>If you think that it is dangerous to remain at home, dial 999 for the police (giving yourt name and address) and evacuate immediately , moving to higher ground away from open areas, streams and storm drains.
>Tune in to the radio for updates from the authorities.
If you are in a Vehicle:
>Be alert to signs of flooding.
>Do not drive around barricades as they are put up for your safety.
>If the vehicle stalls in rapidly rising waters, abandon it immediately and try to get to higher ground.
>Do not walk through moving water as a mere 15cm high moving water can make you fall; if you must, use a stick to check the firmness of the ground in front of you and try to walk in stagnant water.
>Dial 995 for the SCDF for 999 for the Police if help is needed.

My Thoughts, as a Mass Communicator.
Coming end of April, the heat is on the election. This round, almost 90% of Singapore will be voting on the polling day, while only one GRC, which is the Tanjong Pagar GRC, led by our founding father, Lee Kuan Yew, has a walk over. Good job on that!
My parent ruler has been ruling for so long. I see my sector of the empire being upgraded within the last decade which increases the value of my living sector). This has shown results, although not consistent, but gradual results, has proven that we should continue to render great support to the parent ruler.
In fact, I will continue to support the parent ruler(with my first time having the chance of vote, since the past 2 decades), and continue to see his actions for us, because he is still the most powerful, proven and established one.
Only when things seems to get out of hand, or have reached an impasse, should we seek other alternatives, i thought.
________________________________________________
I analyse how the structure of the government work. I may be right, or i may be close. But this is how i thought:
1)Umbrella Government - Or call the "mother government" is PAP by herself.
2)Below the Umbrella are the sons and daughters (All PAPs), and some member of the public(Oppositions), to curb and control problems or issues that may arise through the ruling from the sons and daughters.
3)The oppositions are all pre-designed by the "mother government" to keep a check and balance on her children.
4)In this aspect, the sons and daughters will still have more benefits and exclusive rights than the members of the public (Oppositions).
________________________________________________
Although i do not deny that the mother government sometimes do have flaws in her ruling, that has not affected us tremendously. We should continue to support them, as far as we could.
With the nations being built up over the decades, we should have the thoughts of appreciation. Let us be forbearing and not let a couple of flaws or mistakes heightened in our hearts.
I have foreseen that even if a member of the public has ever won, they would have face unforeseen problems and issues that may arise through them. They will not have enough budgets and financial power to serve the community, given that the exclusive rights are given to the sons and daughters, which make the children more distinctive, as compared to the member of the public. The member of the public will also need to have more seats to gain enough financial support to the people.
In an annotation of simile, it is like being a member of a country club, you definitely have more privilege and benefits, and exclusive rights as compared to a member of the public. So you can choose a member of the country club to help you get into their swimming pool or enjoy their facility as a guest, than to get the member of the public to get you in as guest, which you might not even be eligible.
The government GCT, focus on the economy and caused the high cost of living because it helps in building the nation's GDP, helping it to grow stronger, and allowing the country to sustain well and tough. In this aspect, there could be a trade off of people's welfare in general. But this does not cause big issues to majority living in Singapore.
The good thing is, with the surplus, dividend growth was given back to the people, while they still have a good amount of strong reserve at hand. With good fiscal and strong economic focus supersede other rights, such as first class citizenships, there is always a trade off in the aspect.
However, I think Singaporeans are living "Ok", therefore not much woes, at least to me.
The manufacturing industry is also the vital root to productitivy, and a vital sustainability to the economy.
Compare to the manufacturing industry, the service sector is also a must because with the nature of the job, and the entry level of requirement necessary for the job, the lesser Singaporeans, and most foreigners will be happier to work in these line, for lower pay, as more Singaporeans are getting higher educated, and expect higher salary and better jobscopes.
I am only able to see that the standard of people in all aspects will rise, with years to come, so we will continue to aspire and strive not just forward, but upward, towards our individual success!
Let us built an beautifully imperfect government!

Blessings~
I pray for my family to be healthy, happy and successful always.
I pray for my darling and myself, to be healthy, happy and successful and together always.
I pray to all my fellow relatives and friends to be healthy, happy and successful always.
I pray to discover God's calling, for my purpose of life.
I pray to be discovered by those around me, for my purpose of life set by God.
I pray to answer God's calling, for my purpose of life.
I want to contribute to the community, society, and the economy.
I want to touch people's life in someway, if possible.
I saw my darling's purpose of life before me, and is still exploring mine, as there seems to be more than one kind.
All things happens for a better reason.
I just need to discover my callings, and unleash that potential of mine. I know i can do far better than what i am currently doing, as it is like, stucking in a nutshell right now.
But i need something right now, which can unlease my potential, and allow me to sustain myself in life.

How Many Roses Should You Give?
Dear Guys, before you try to impress that special someone with that bouquet of roses, make sure you know the meaning behind it, the meaning of roses; what the number of roses represent.
- 1 Rose -> Love at first sight or devotion to one person
- 2 Roses -> Mutual feelings of love and affection
- 3 Roses -> "I love you"
- 6 Roses -> "I miss you"
- 7 Roses -> Infatuation
- 9 Roses -> Together forever
- 10 Roses -> Perfect love
- 11 Roses -> You are my treasured one; the one I love Most in My life
- 12 Roses -> One dozen roses is a declaration of love and appreciation
- 13 Roses -> From your secret admirer or "we are friends forever"
- 15 Roses -> I am truly sorry, please forgive me
- 20 Roses -> Believe me, I am sincere towards you
- 21 Roses -> I am devoted to you
- 24 Roses -> Two dozen roses says "I belong to you" or "thinking of you 24 hours a day"
- 33 Roses -> Saying "I love you" with great affection
- 36 Roses -> Head over heals in love or "I cherish our relationship"
- 40 Roses -> "My love for you is genuine"
- 50 Roses -> Unconditional, boundless love
- 99 Roses -> I will love you for as long as I live
- 100 Roses -> Represents a century and says "I want to grow old with you"
- 101 Roses -> You are my one and only love
- 108 Roses -> Proposal of marriage
- 365 Roses -> I can't stop thinking of you each and everyday
- 999 Roses -> Everlasting and Eternal Love
Personally base on my thoughts, i suggest that from the time you send the number of roses, as years past by gradually, it will good to give the same, if not, higher number of roses as it would be meant as a part of your progression towards love relationship, and as the depth increases.
