My Thoughts, as a Mass Communicator.

Coming end of April, the heat is on the election. This round, almost 90% of Singapore will be voting on the polling day, while only one GRC, which is the Tanjong Pagar GRC, led by our founding father, Lee Kuan Yew, has a walk over. Good job on that!

My parent ruler has been ruling for so long. I see my sector of the empire being upgraded within the last decade which increases the value of my living sector). This has shown results, although not consistent, but gradual results, has proven that we should continue to render great support to the parent ruler.

In fact, I will continue to support the parent ruler(with my first time having the chance of vote, since the past 2 decades), and continue to see his actions for us, because he is still the most powerful, proven and established one.

Only when things seems to get out of hand, or have reached an impasse, should we seek other alternatives, i thought.

I analyse how the structure of the government work. I may be right, or i may be close. But this is how i thought:

1)Umbrella Government - Or call the "mother government" is PAP by herself.

2)Below the Umbrella are the sons and daughters (All PAPs), and some member of the public(Oppositions), to curb and control problems or issues that may arise through the ruling from the sons and daughters.

3)The oppositions are all pre-designed by the "mother government" to keep a check and balance on her children.

4)In this aspect, the sons and daughters will still have more benefits and exclusive rights than the members of the public (Oppositions).

Although i do not deny that the mother government sometimes do have flaws in her ruling, that has not affected us tremendously. We should continue to support them, as far as we could.

With the nations being built up over the decades, we should have the thoughts of appreciation. Let us be forbearing and not let a couple of flaws or mistakes heightened in our hearts.

I have foreseen that even if a member of the public has ever won, they would have face unforeseen problems and issues that may arise through them. They will not have enough budgets and financial power to serve the community, given that the exclusive rights are given to the sons and daughters, which make the children more distinctive, as compared to the member of the public. The member of the public will also need to have more seats to gain enough financial support to the people.

In an annotation of simile, it is like being a member of a country club, you definitely have more privilege and benefits, and exclusive rights as compared to a member of the public. So you can choose a member of the country club to help you get into their swimming pool or enjoy their facility as a guest, than to get the member of the public to get you in as guest, which you might not even be eligible.

The government GCT, focus on the economy and caused the high cost of living because it helps in building the nation's GDP, helping it to grow stronger, and allowing the country to sustain well and tough. In this aspect, there could be a trade off of people's welfare in general. But this does not cause big issues to majority living in Singapore.

The good thing is, with the surplus, dividend growth was given back to the people, while they still have a good amount of strong reserve at hand. With good fiscal and strong economic focus supersede other rights, such as first class citizenships, there is always a trade off in the aspect.

However, I think Singaporeans are living "Ok", therefore not much woes, at least to me.

The manufacturing industry is also the vital root to productitivy, and a vital sustainability to the economy.

Compare to the manufacturing industry, the service sector is also a must because with the nature of the job, and the entry level of requirement necessary for the job, the lesser Singaporeans, and most foreigners will be happier to work in these line, for lower pay, as more Singaporeans are getting higher educated, and expect higher salary and better jobscopes.

I am only able to see that the standard of people in all aspects will rise, with years to come, so we will continue to aspire and strive not just forward, but upward, towards our individual success!

Let us built an beautifully imperfect government!
